The Fourth Delegation from BNUK visits Punahou School
Vice principal Dujun led a group of 22 teachers from Beijing Normal University kindergarten and elementary school to the American Punahou School for a teacher institute for 10 days from January 28 to February 6, 2013.
Director of Wo international Center, Emily, and her assistant, Chain, arranged the training program. It included lectures, classroom observations, workshops, and discussions, etc.
They had a special “Curriculum Day” in which the teachers split up into groups so they could attend different workshops the school had prepared. Our teachers also hosted of a workshop presenting our thoughts and experiences after attending three years of teachers’ institutes at Punahou. It attracted a lot of Punahou teachers who enjoyed the workshop, especially the dance Open the Red Gate.
