BNU Teachers’ Fifth Visit to Punahou School for Teacher Institute
                        
                        
 Vice Principal Xu Cuifeng led a delegation of 21 BNU kindergarten and elementary school teachers to attend a teacher institute for 10 days in American Punahou School from January 17 to 26, 2014. Nine of the teachers were from the kindergarten.
 
 
 Director of Wo International Center, Emily, and George, director of PLACE (Planning and Leadership across City Environments) arranged the training program. The topic was constructing a good partnership with the community. The training program included lectures, classroom observations, and discussions, etc. During the program, Luke, a teacher from Punahou School Community Services introduced us to how the Punahou School combines education and social services. Then, our vice principal Xu Cuifeng introduced the cooperation between our kindergarten and community as well as our social services.
 
 
 
 Our teachers took part in the Community Service Program Design activity. Their design impressed the teachers of Punahou.
