BNUK Delegation Participates in the 76th OMEP World Assembly and Conference

From July 15 to 19, 2024, eleven teachers from BNUK, including Xia Huaying, Xu Cuifeng, Gao Yihua, Wu Yuanyuan, Yang Haiyan, Qiu Shou, Xu Xingfang, Teng Jin, Li Lin, Li Lingzi, and He Zijuan, were invited to participate in the 76th OMEP World Assembly and Conference. Held in Bangkok, Thailand, this event themed “Right from the Start for ECCE: Step Beyond All Together” brought together preschool educators from around the world to discuss cutting-edge theories and practical experiences in preschool education.

The event included various exchange activities, such as keynote speeches, sub-venue discussions, symposiums, and poster presentations, offering a broad communication platform for participants. Principal Xia Huaying led BNUK delegation in presenting and discussing ten key topics with preschool educators from around the world:

8.Enhancing Kindergarten Operation Quality through Supervision and Evaluation Mechanisms

9.Building Multi-Level Professional Development Communities for Preschool Educators

10.Digital Transformation in Kindergarten Management: Applications and Transformation of IT

The presentations showcased BNUK’s experience and achievements in various areas, including environmental education, developmental assessment of children, teacher training, integration of fine traditional Chinese culture, patriotic education, enhancement of kindergarten operation quality, and digital transformation. These efforts received high praise and attention from preschool educators from around the world.

During the event, Principal Xia Huaying led BNUK delegation in visiting local kindergartens in Thailand in groups, engaging in in-depth exchanges with local educators. Through these on-site visits, the delegation gained insights into educational models, curriculum design, and environmental creation of local kindergartens while sharing BNUK’s characteristics and experience. These interactions broadened BNUK’s perspective and provided valuable experiences for enhancing the quality of education.
