Beijing Normal University Preschool Education Training Program Introduction

Beijing Normal University Preschool Training Center has two types of training, internal and external. The internal training is to improve the professional ability of the teaching staff in one garden, eight sites and three centers of Beijing Normal University Experimental Kindergarten. External teacher training is organized for preschool education training all over the country, spreading quality preschool education resources to all over the motherland through project training and support for teaching.

I. Introduction to external training programs

1. Base Training

Definition: The training center insists on "leading from the point to the surface" and establishes "regionalized preschool training bases" to cultivate model units, radiate regional development, and achieve balanced development of regionalized preschool quality.

Form: Adopt the leading process of "Diagnosis - Training - Improvement", implement the whole process of professional training and tracking professional improvement strategy, and improve the quality of preschool education in the base and the radiated area through in-garden guidance, Specific Topic lectures and Post substitute training.

Development: The training center has established long-term cooperation with Hainan Haikou Harbor Kindergarten, Hainan Provincial Department of Education, and Weihai Education Bureau, adopting the "double circle leading" model to cultivate "seed" kindergartens and improve the quality of regionalized preschool education by leading from the point to the surface.

2. Specific Topic Training

Definition: Specific Topic Training is the main form of external training, which is carried out around specific topics.

Form: The training center conducts in-depth social research, starts from the needs of society for preschool education development, establishes precise and clear training themes, constructs cutting-edge and high-end training courses, and faces national kindergarten education colleagues to spread excellent experience and lead professional development.

Development: So far, the training center has successfully held "Workshop on Fine Management of Kindergarten Logistics", "Advanced Workshop on Leadership of Kindergarten Principals", "Workshop on Professional Leadership Enhancement of Business Principals ", "Kindergarten Montessori Junior Teacher Training", "Kindergarten Montessori Senior Teacher Training", "Kindergarten Physical Education Workshop ", "0-3 years old science early education advanced workshop" and other training programs, from Guangdong, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Chongqing, Jiangxi, Hebei, Shanghai, more than 20 provinces and cities, such as the kindergarten principals, business garden director, backbone teachers to participate in training.

3.Customized Training

Definition: Customized training, that is, tailor-made special training, is a high-end customized, tailor-made professional training for the development of preschool education in various provinces, cities and regions.

Form: Customized training is a better form of training to rapidly improve the quality of local preschool education, as it has realized the characteristics of tailor-made training in terms of preliminary research, program development, process organization and effect analysis and feedback.

Development: So far, the training center has held "Shenzhen Longgang District Kindergarten Principals Professional Leadership Advanced Training Course", "Shenzhen Luohu District Kindergarten Backbone Teacher Professional Capacity Enhancement Advanced Training Course", "Guangdong Shantou Longhu District Kindergarten Principals Leadership Advanced Training Course", "Weifang Engineering Vocational College Childcare Professional Course Training" and other scheduled trainings, making positive contributions to the development of local preschool education.

4. Post Substitute Training

Definition: Post substitute training refers to the training form in which early childhood teachers or managers go deep into the front line to observe and learn.

Form: The trainees go deep into the classes and posts of Centennial kindergarten—Beijing Normal University Experimental Kindergarten, follow the education and management of senior teachers or managers in the garden, and participate in the whole garden meeting, class meeting, garden-based teaching and research, and other garden work. We will have a deep understanding of the garden-based culture, educational philosophy, team building, garden-based characteristics, teaching and research organization, etc., and lead professional development with excellent educational research and practice.

5. Job Qualification Training

Definition: Job training based on the national requirements for professional competence in preschool education positions and based on relevant national policies.

Development: "Cultivating Excellent Kindergarten Principals - Training for Kindergarten Principals at Beijing Normal University" based on the "Professional Standards for Kindergarten Principals " issued by the Ministry of Education. "Job training for child care workers in child care institutions" based on the " Training Syllabus for Child Care Workers in Child Care Facilities (Trial)" issued by the National Health Commission. The "Standardized Training Course for New Kindergarten Teachers" was held in accordance with the "Implementation Guidelines for Standardized Training for New Kindergarten Teachers" issued by the Ministry of Education, and so on, to lay a solid professional foundation for kindergarten teachers to take up their new positions.

6. Online Training

Definition: In response to the training needs during the epidemic period, we developed a comprehensive and three-dimensional online professional training platform to help teachers' professional development.

Form: With the help of the online information platform, we analyzed the professional development needs of different positions, developed online practical courses, and constructed "leadership training for kindergarten Principals," "professional growth of kindergarten backbone teachers," "kindergarten care The online thematic training courses such as "What You Should Know About Kindergarten Work" and "50 Selected Cases of Excellent Theme Education Activities in Kindergarten" allow participants to receive high-end education training and learn the classic management and education cases of experimental kindergartens of Beijing Normal University without leaving home.

7. Teaching support

External teaching support is the education training organized for the underdeveloped areas in the west of our country, the old revolutionary areas, and the ethnic minority areas, such as the teaching support for the kindergartens of Xinjiang Altai region for 11 consecutive years since 2008. The education support to Qingyang in Gansu, Jinggang Mountain in Jiangxi, Mianyang in Sichuan, Daliang Mountain in Sichuan, Yuxi in Yunnan, and Linyi in Shandong for many years in a row has promoted the improvement of the quality of local preschool education by leading from the point to the surface.

II. Introduction to internal training programs

(I) New entry training

The training programs for new staff members include new management, new staff, new teachers, new caregivers, and new class leaders. The curriculum reflects a ladder-type structure to enable new staff members to quickly adapt to their new positions and improve their professional abilities. The following figure (1-1)

(ii) Management cadres training

Management cadres include the corresponding training for management positions, including management cadres' literacy and job adaptation training for garden Principals, general affairs cadres, business cadres, etc., to enhance management cadres' management ability in terms of job leadership and job execution.


(iii) Professional training for teachers

Teacher professional training is organized from targeted training for young teachers, core teachers, classroom teachers, and teaching and research teachers, and comprehensive, hierarchical, and structured training courses are established to enhance the professionalism of teachers at different levels.
